Announcing two very special events taking place on Wednesday 7th December, at the Irish World Heritage Centre.

Christmas Lights Switch On

We were delighted to be asked by Manchester City Council to oragnise the annual ‘Cheetham Christmas Lights Switch on’, here at the Irish World Heritage Centre.

From 5pm we will be celebrating this special event with festive entertainment and refreshments, and we will be joined by a number of special guests. This event is family friendly and is free for all the family.

RTE radio 1 recording their Christmas Special of ‘The Irish Experience’ to be broadcast during Christmas week in Ireland.

From 7pm RTE Radio One will be recording the Christmas special of their hit show 'The Irish Experience' which celebrates Irish emigrants living in the UK. Presenter Paschal Mooney will meet with artists and active community members, giving the Irish audience back home a taste of the Irish scene in Manchester. This show will be broadcast in Ireland during Christmas week.
