We at the Irish Diaspora Foundation are currently working on collecting oral histories from Irish people who have settled in Manchester and the surrounding area.

We would love to talk to anyone who feels that they have a story to tell, about their experiences of migration and living in the UK as an Irish person.

We have a very friendly group of volunteers who are carrying out these interviews and we hope to exhibit the results at our annual exhibition in the Manchester Town Hall in March 2012.
