Renowned biographer Anthony Jordan who has written numerous books on important Irish figures, including Major John MacBride, Connor Cruise O’Brien, Christy Brown, and WB Yeats, will be presenting an evening lecture at the Irish World Heritage Centre on Wednesday 20th July.

Based on emigration to the Greater Manchester Area, his paper will tell the story of Michael Davitt - 'Father of the Land League' from his childhood in Mayo, his family's migration to Northwest England and his public and political successes to follow.

This is a highly anticipated event and we look forward to welcoming Anthony to the Irish Centre.
