New
Centre Project
There is hardly
a country in the world which has not felt the benefit of the positive contribution made by Irish emigrants. Men and women who left Ireland over the centuries have become educators, entrepreneurs, entertainers, political leaders and heads of state in many foreign countries.
Throughout the world their cultural legacies endure. The Irish World Heritage Centre in Manchester is dedicated to keeping alive the memory and achievements of these people. It is a celebration of their success and their major contribution to world progress and a continuity of Irelands story embracing the Irish global family of 70 million people.
Our vision is the establishment of a centre of excellence outside of Ireland which will provide unique visitor facilities, exhibitions, entertainment, sport and accommodation delivered by advanced multimedia and information technology media.
