The Writers return from the Christmas/ New Year break on Thursday 9th January 2020.

Manchester Irish Writers will be taking a Summer break, with effect on Thursday 11th July and will start again on Thursday 12th September. New members always welcome.

Suzanne Jean's play 'An Absense Of' has been short-listed for the Kenneth Branagh Award at the Windsor Fringe



Angela Channell (Elaine Powell's daughter) is on the road with Cambridge Footlights



A fourth novel by Alrene Hughes; 'The Girl from the Corner Shop' will be available from 11th July.

4 writers have successfully published a range of novels with founder member Alrene Hughes launching her sixth one in July.
